Little known fact: In yesterday's ruling, Judge John Osborn sided with the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit filed against Nebraska Head Football Coach Bill Callahan. The lawsuit was filed shortly after the 2004 Callahan tirade where he allegedly called a group of Oklahoma fans "f&@%ing hillbillies" following his team's loss to Oklahoma. According to court documents, each fan within earshot of Callahan will receive: $500 in silver dust, 10 lbs of burlap, 40 bars of lye soap and a mule.

Little known fact: In early 1935 first-year Oklahoma Football Head Coach Lawrence M. "Biff" Jones was credited with the idea of using the famed Sooner Schooner as the team's sole gameday ambulance. A decision that not only allowed the mascot on the field but is also credited with saving over 150 players lives. However, all good things must end. In a 1978 compromise with the NCAA, the two-parties agreed the Schooner would be allowed onto the field but OU had to purchase and equip a modern ambulance. To this day, the Schooner still carries its original box of Band-Aids.
